Betting has been suspended on Thibaut Courtois’ potential transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
Belgian keeper Courtois has reportedly agreed a move to Real, with the Spanish side ready to splash between £31million and £36million on the World Cup semi-finalist.
The transfer would make him the highest paid keeper in the world – with £250,000-a-week offered for his signature.
The move would also suit him with his children already living in Madrid, having stayed in the Spanish capital from his time at Atletico Madrid.
Courtois fueled the rumours of his Blues departure earlier this week.

“In this World Cup, I have ignored all the speculation, all the rumours. But now in the next few days I will have a chat with my agent and see what Chelsea told him, and then we will talk. But I feel happy at Chelsea, it’s not that I necessarily want to leave.”
And Coral’s John Hill said: “It looks like Courtois is packing his bags for Spain therefore we have pulled the plug on this market and instead concentrating on who his replacement will be where Kasper Schmeichel is the early favourite."
