The sport heads to China for a momentous occasion as Lewis Hamilton looks to pick up his second victory of the season in Shanghai.

When is the Chinese Grand Prix?

The Chinese Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, April 14.

With the time difference, the lights will go out at 7.10am UK time – that is 3.10pm in China.

What is the schedule?

The racing weekend in the Asian country, kicks off on Friday with practice.

The schedule is as follows (all UK times):

  • Practice 1: Friday, April 12 – 3am
  • Practice 2: Friday, April 12 – 7am
  • Practice 3: Saturday, April 13 – 4am
  • Qualifying: Saturday, April 13 – 7am
  • Race: Sunday, April 14 – 7.10am
