David Luiz causes traffic chaos after Chelsea win by stopping for selfies

Fellow drivers stuck behind the commotion finally lost patience with the Brazilian and blasted their horns in frustration.

Even the bus driver was shouting out of his window to try and clear the kids off the road and get traffic moving.

But Luiz looked like he had little care in the world as he headed home following Chelsea’s 2-0 win against rock-bottom Fulham.

In his black Mercedes he wound down his window and had the grin of a Cheshire Cat as fans fought to grab the perfect picture.

A member of the Chelsea staff could only laugh in the car behind.

Eventually enough was enough and Luiz was on his way, but it was no wonder he was in a good mood.

He helped marshal a defence to another clean sheet as the Blues offered the perfect response to their drubbing against Tottenham.

Pedro opened the scoring early on before super sub Ruben Loftus-Cheek settled matters late on.

The result leaves Chelsea third and a whopping nine points ahead of Manchester United.

Luiz's future at Stamford Bridge may be uncertain, but the defender was making the most of having the fans on side.

The Brazilian has come under fire recently, as it has emerged that he's been at fault for a staggering 64 per cent of goals conceded by Chelsea this season.

Luiz has become a firm favourite since Maurizio Sarri took the reigns at Chelsea, but he has yet to push through a contract extension.
