Banned Australian star David Warner has briefly left the field after he was sledged during a Sydney grade cricket match.
Warner, who turned 32 on Saturday, was batting for Randwick-Petersham in a premier grade match when a Western Suburbs opponent is said to have sledged him.
According to reports, the left-handed opener told an umpire he was removing himself from the game, walked off and returned to continue his innings a couple of minutes later.
Warner recorded a century as the day progressed from 179 balls.
