Dembele ‘trashed Klopp’s house’ in desperate bid to force transfer

Liverpool continue to be tipped to make a January move for Ousmane Dembele.

The French winger ‘s discipline remains cause for concern for Barcelona and he has angered boss Ernesto Valverde on more than one occasion.

Dembele was not involved against Real Betis this weekend due to a "stomach bug" but there are suggestions Barca could look to move him on in January.

The Catalan giants paid over £130m for the 21-year-old at the start of last season and it remains to be seen if any club would be willing to go anywhere near that fee.

The Sun reports Liverpool are weighing up a stunning club-record £85m bid for the Frenchman in what would be a real boost to their title chances.

Jurgen Klopp has previously indicated Liverpool would be interested in Dembele, were he to become available.

Klopp remains a big fan despite an incredible incident in which the youngster trashed his home in Germany.

Back in 2017, Dembele was renting Klopp’s home in Germany with the Liverpool boss owning it from his time as Dortmund manager.

Dembele was desperate to force through a move to Barca and left the property in an absolute state, reported Bild.

Images at the time showed bin bags thrown across the front garden, while clothing and furniture had not been looked after.

Klopp was said to be furious at the time but it would appear a solution has been met, if Klopp is to push through with his interest.

Liverpool forked out to sign Virgil van Dijk in January this year and it could be that signing Dembele gives them another major boost.
