ESPN’s Smith: Jason Garrett should be fired

The Dallas Cowboys dropped to 2-3 on the season Sunday following a deflating overtime loss to the Texans, as coach Jason Garrett’s decision to punt the ball away on 4th-and-1 in overtime gave Houston a chance score a game-winning field goal on their next drive.

The Cowboys’ offensive line had allowed seven sacks in the game, but Garrett’s choice not to rely on star running back Ezekiel Elliott in a critical moment was instantly panned on social media – and owner Jerry Jones wasn’t happy with the call.

Stephen A. Smith said Tuesday that Garrett deserves to be fired, and not just because of his conservative call against the Texans.
