And Jesus even managed a small sing song when making his donation on a live YouTube video with Brazilian singer Belo.
The Etihad frontman's amazing gesture is a nod to his roots, where he once painted the cobbled streets without shoes on his feet.
Sport Witness report that several local artists have been producing concerts in their homes to gather food and hygiene products for poor people in the South American country.
Jesus is the latest, with this act of kindness another in a long line of charitable moves on his part.
Just two weeks ago he arranged for 400 food baskets to be delivered to the neighbourhood of Jardim Peri, where he grew up.
And he was among a number of players who stumped up £370,000 between them to help some 32,000 families with relief efforts.
SunSport showed you the amazing photos of Jesus, now 23, painting the road in his homeland.
He was playing for Palmeiras at the time as an up-and-coming 17-year-old but showed a strong bond to his community that continues to this day.
Jesus was making £3,500 a year back then before sealing a £75,000-a-week move to the Etihad in August 2016.
He will always struggle for a starting spot in Pep Guardiola's side while Sergio Aguero remains.
But Jesus did recently reveal where he thinks he has the upper hand over his team-mate.
He said: "Today, Aguero is a little older and therefore he may not be able to do what I can do without the ball, which is to defend, steal the ball and help.
"I don't know if at 30 I'll be able to do that!
"I have played important games, scored goals, I believe I am improving and I have more to improve. I feel that my greatest quality is my mindset."
