Have a hockey question? Montreal’s Drop the Puck event might have the answers

Have a hockey-loving kid in your family? Then Montreal’s Drop the Puck event, held at the Crowne Plaza on Côte-de-Liesse, is the place to be Sunday.

Some 35 exhibitors, ranging from primary and secondary schools with hockey programs to sleep-away hockey camps, are on hand to answer questions.

Various booths have cutting-edge equipment on display, while others offer kids a chance to fine-tune their passing and slapshot skills.

For event promoter Dominic Servello, Sunday is all about informing the hockey community.

“We’re showing Montreal families their choices,” he said.

“If you’re shopping for a school, you’re shopping for a new pair of skates, shopping for a developer to help your son or daughter, or you just want to get involved in hockey, this is the place to be.”

Admission to Drop the Puck is free. Doors close at 7 p.m.
