Huddersfield stars smoke and party outside strip club until 5am and chat to women while celebrating Premier League survival

A 1-1 draw away at high-flying Chelsea means David Wagner and his boys are safe from the dreaded drop, and in turn relegated Swansea to the Championship.

Immediately after the match, jubilant coach Wagner admitted the players had free reign for 48 hours to reward their efforts over the season.

So it was only right the players and management staff let their hair down after a stunning first ever season in England's top-flight.

And they certainly did that – until 5am.

Players and staff headed to Libertine by Chinawhite nightclub in Fitzrovia to start the partying off before heading to Platinum Lace strip club in Picadilly Circus.

A source told SunSport that star man Aaron Mooy, who will be playing at this summer's World Cup in Russia for Australia, was seen smoking at least 10 cigarettes during the night out.

German left-back Chris Lowe was also spotted puffing away.

Some players were also seen chatting to mystery female companions.

Laurent Depoitre, who scored Huddersfield's crucial goal against Chelsea, decided to take a rickshaw ride after leaving the club.

Meanwhile others were seen climbing on to motorbikes parked up in the street  – looking somewhat worse for wear.

The Terriers ensured they would spend another year in the top flight with their 1-1 draw at Chelsea which guaranteed they could not be relegated.

Players asked to miss the planned plane trip to Yorkshire so they could booze their way back on the team coach – only for that trip to be barred because the driver reached his daily limit of driving hours.

So, still wearing their Huddersfield club tracksuits they hit the town to toast survival.

Understandably, some of the players were struggling on the journey back up north today for the three-hour journey by train.

Goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, who made a string of vital saves to secure the point needed for survival, and Depoitre were just two who were in need of some TLC.

Meanwhile it looked as though Pritchard had continued the party through the night.
