Jack Wilshere pranked by West Ham pals Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell in hilarious fake interview

The new Hammers signing thought he was due to be interviewed by the club’s sponsors Betway.

But little did Wilshere know that the entire thing was an elaborate set-up by his pals.

Things got off to a strange start with the interview, Lee, who branded Wilshere “fit” as Noble and Cresswell told him what to say through a hidden earpiece.

The midfielder looked nervous as he was asked if he deserved to be in the starting XI ahead of Noble.

And after some more awkward questions, Lee then pretended to answer his phone, telling the caller he was interviewing “John Wilshere.”

The gag was then followed up by a question asking Wilshere if he was hoping to be recalled for the Republic of Ireland national side.

And it was then that Noble and Cresswell decided to end the interview and reveal the hilarious joke to Wilshere.

Meanwhile, West Ham are looking to wrap up a move for Arsenal striker Lucas Perez.

They are also in talks with Brazilian winger Bernard, who is a free agent after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk.
