Jameis Winston's regrettable day against the Cincinnati Bengals ended early.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers benched starting quarterback in the third quarter after he threw four interceptions against the Bengals.
Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced him in the game with the Buccaneers trailing 34-16. After his first drive yielded a field goal, Fitzpatrick found wide receiver Mike Evans downfield for a 72-yard touchdown strike.
Winston was pulled after throwing a pick-six to Bengals safety Jessie Bates with 2:10 remaining before the fourth quarter.
He finished the day with 276 yards and one touchdown along with the four turnovers on 18-of-35 passing.
Winston has now thrown 10 interceptions in four games this year since taking over for Fitzpatrick after his three-game suspension to start the season.
