Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa linked with shock move to MLS champions Atlanta United

The Argentinian looks to have transformed the Yorkshire club into genuine automatic promotion contenders from the Championship this season.

But this has seemingly not gone unnoticed, with The Morning Journal reporting that Atlanta have shortlisted him for their top job.

The American outfit are losing their boss Tata Martino who is expected to take up the Mexico national team job.

The club are hoping to employ another big-name coach to replace him, and the 63-year-old would fit that bill.

Bielsa has previously managed Lazio, Marseille and Athletic Bilbao, as well as the Argentina national side.

Leeds are sitting pretty in second in the Championship on 42 points from their 21 games played.

Importantly, Bielsa has brought the fans back together at Elland Road after years of uncertainty under previous owner Massimi Cellino.

However since Andrea Radrizzani took over and employed Bielsa, the Whites could finally end their 14-year hiatus from the Premier League.
