Lingfield races tips, racecard, declarations and preview for Saturday's meeting live on ITV and At The Races this Saturday

We've got all you need to know about the synthetic sizzler right here.

Race 1 – 11.55 Like Sun Racing On Facebook Handicap

A moderate contest to kick us off, with plenty of the runners arriving with something to prove. One that doesn't, though, is AINNE, who bolted up in the bottom grade at Kempton last time out in first-time blinkers. She could be hard to contain if the headgear works a charm once more.

Molten Lava has been in good form at Chelmsford and has chances if transferring his improvement here, while Lord Murphy can pick up third spot with smart claimer Thomas Greatrex taking off 5lb.

Verdict – 1. Ainne 2. Molten Lava 3. Lord Murphy

Race 2 – 12.25 Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost/EBF Novice Stakes (Div I)

Barys probably sets the standard on his promising second outing at York, but he hasn't been as good since and this could be best left to BARYSHNIKOV. Ed Walker's contender ran a big race at Newbury last time to finish third and if he improves on that then he's the one to beat.

John Gosden fields interesting newcomer New King and it would be no surprise to see him produce a nice effort on debut.

Verdict – 1. Baryshnikov 2. Barys 3. New King

Race 3 – 1.00 Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost/EBF Novice Stakes (Div II)

This can probably go the way of HUMANITARIAN for Breeders' Cup Turf-winning trainer John Gosden. He produced a very nice debut at Newmarket when second of eighteen and should have too much gas now on his second start.

The main danger could be Sash, who also finished second on debut – a decent display considering his trainer's horses usually improve for their first run. Well-bred newcomer Almokhtaar could be wise enough to fill out the places.

Verdict – 1. Humanitarian 2. Sash 3. Almokhtaar

Race 4 – 1.35 Sun Racing Handicap

Usually a good pointer for the all-weather mile season ahead, and perhaps ORIGINAL CHOICE can do the business for William Haggas. He looked a smart handicapper earlier in the season when finishing third in the Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood but has since slightly lost his way. However, this is a much easier contest than he's used to and first-time cheekpieces could perk him up.

My Target is useful over this course and distance when on song and is operating off a good mark, while Goring can bounce back returned to polytrack.

Verdict – 1. Original Choice 2. My Target 3. Goring

Race 5 – 2.10 Betway Median Auction Maiden Stakes

This isn't a strong race and is likely best left to POETIC PRINCIPLE. He sets the standard on his second at Kempton last time out and if reproducing that could be too good here.

Side Effect was runner-up in a similar race last time and also has strong claims, while Faraasah has potential now starting out for Jamie Osborne.

Verdict – 1. Poetic Principle 2. Side Effect 3. Faraasah

Race 6 – 2.45 Betway Churchill Stakes (Listed)

A hot little race in prospect and nothing has stronger claims than ADDEYBB. He's been plying his trade in much stronger company than this of late and will be appreciate the drop in grade. He needs to show he's not lost interest after two below-par runs, but he should be too good here.

Master The World has some very smart form on polytrack and could be the main danger, along with Spark Plug who is a threat at this level.

Verdict – 1. Addeybb 2. Master The World 3. Spark Plug

Race 7 – 3.15 Betway Golden Rose Stakes (Listed)

Gifted Master may have the strongest form but he has a horrid draw and will need serious gate speed to get to the front. Perhaps this can go the way of ENCRYPTED, who is proven on the all-weather and has some smart form to his name this season, including a second in the Portland at Donny.

Corinthia Knight is most at home on polytrack and has landed a decent draw. He can fill out the places.

Verdict – 1. Encrypted 2. Gifted Master. 3. Corinthia Knight

Race 8 – 3.45 Betway Handicap

A weak handicap to close the card that can go the way of CAT ROYALE. He's one of only a few horses arriving here in form and if coping with the slightly longer trip then he'll be hard to beat.

Your Band is interesting on handicap debut with Nicola Currie taking off 3lb, and perhaps Prairie Town can bounce back for third spot.

Verdict – 1. Cat Royale 2. Your Band 3. Prairie Town
