Liverpool keeper makes huge decision over his future

Liverpool keeper Danny Ward is reportedly set to join Leicester in a £10million move – but the transfer doesn’t mean Kasper Schmeichel will be leaving the King Power Stadium.

Wales international Ward was about to become the Reds’ fourth choice keeper, with Alisson on the brink of becoming Jurgen Klopp’s new No.1.

The Brazilian is due to jet in to Merseyside to confirm his £67m move from Roma – with Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius also blocking Ward’s path to the starting XI.

Ward has managed three first team appearances for the Reds since joining from Wrexham in 2014 – he also spent time on loan at Morecambe, Aberdeen and helped Huddersfield to Premier League promotion two seasons ago.
