LIVERPOOL are reportedly keen on bringing in Real Madrid ace Toni Kroos next summer.
Kop boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a huge admirer of the 31-year-old German midfielder who he sees as the ideal man to revamp Liverpool's midfield.
And according to El Nacional, the Reds could be able to snap up Kroos for just £20m.
Despite being a key member of Madrid's squad since joining in 2014 from Bayern Munich for £21m, Kroos has only made two appearances for them this season.
As Kroos is no longer a first-team regular, Los Blancos may be willing to cash in on him while they still can, before his contract ends in 2023.
However, Klopp will have his work cut out convincing the retired German international to keep on playing after he revealed he plans to retire when his current Madrid deal expires.
He said: “I believe that the year 2023 is appropriate [to retire], I will be 33 years old.
"I will decide whether I will renew for a season or two, that is still open for discussion, but I am completely sure that I will retire at Real Madrid."

Klopp hopes his fellow German native will come in and shore up his midfield department with several stars seemingly heading towards the exit.
He's eager to offload flop Naby Kieta, whose time on Merseyside has been ravaged by injury.
The Reds were so desperate to get rid of Keita, they even offered him to Atletico Madrid this summer but the move never materialised.

Another injury-prone star who's failed to make an impact at Anfield is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
And he's been linked with a shock return back to his old club Arsenal who are reportedly pondering a swoop for their ex-player.
Ageing veteran James Milner may also need replacing, his current contract ends next summer and it's unlikely that the Reds will offer him a new one.
