Man Utd hopeful of offloading Alexis Sanchez as Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli all show interest in £505k-a-week flop – The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED have fresh hope of offloading Alexis Sanchez with a trio of Italian clubs reportedly entering the hunt.

SunSport exclusively revealed the flop – who earns up to £505,00-a-week – was digging his heels in and refusing to be farmed out against his wishes as a loan move to Roma stalled.

But the Daily Mail claims Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are now all showing an interest in the 30-year-forward.

Old Trafford chiefs will hope one of the giants will be able to table a package tempting enough to persuade Sanchez he is better suited leaving.

But United may still have to pay a portion of the Chilean international's extortionate wages.

Sanchez faces being banished from the first-team squad should he stay.

Solskjaer is ready to give Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood more starts this campaign.

Loaning Sanchez – who has a hamstring issue – to Roma, with the Serie A club paying a chunk of his wages, looked like an option when they showed interest.

But they are now looking at Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi as they fear a deal for Sanchez will not be possible.

Shocking statistics show how Sanchez's career has collapsed since he joined from Arsenal in January 2018.

The 130-cap Chile international has scored just three times in 32 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils – averaging 641 minutes per strike.

And the struggling ex-Gunner will have banked an incredible £41million in wages from United as of this week.
