Manchester United to meet £44m release clause for Napoli defender

Manchester United are reportedly ready to spend £44million on Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj.

Jose Mourinho has identified both full-back positions as priorities in the summer transfer window.

Juventus flyer Alex Sandro is expected to arrive for £50million and slot in on the left, and Hysaj is Mourino’s preferred choice for the opposite flank.

According to The Sun , United prepared to meet the Albanian’s release clause.

Hysaj has been at the club for three years since joining from Empoli and can also be deployed at left-back.

Matteo Darmian, who has flitted in and out of United’s side, could be heading for Serie A this summer as champions Juventus line up a move.
