Manchester United ready to make bid for legendary Italian defender
Manchester United are reportedly preparing a bid for AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci.
The Italian defender only joined the Serie A giants from Juventus last summer but could be on the move again.
According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport , United boss Jose Mourinho has identified the 31-year-old as a priority signing.
Milan paid £40million to sign Bonucci last year and would expect to make a profit on the Italy international.
He left Juventus following a row with manager Max Allegri and was a target for Chelsea.
Bonucci is believed to decided to stay in Italy due to his son’s ill health, but he is now reportedly ready to move to England.
