Mayweather cosies up to stunning ex-girlfriend at LA Lakers game as Pacquiao rematch talks continue

Mayweather, a lifelong basketball fan, had a front row seat to watch the Lakers be defeated by the Timberwolves at the Staples Center.

Accompanying the retired boxer was his son, Zion, and ex-flame Liza Hernandez, who Mayweather was seen getting rather close with with.

Mayweather once dated model Hernandez, who was once seen pictured with then Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Just last week, while Mayweather was again courtside at the Staples Center, he bumped into former opponent Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao, 40, is coming off a points win against Mayweather’s former friend and prodigy Adrien Broner, 29, after outpointing 'The Problem' in Las Vegas.

Going into the fight Pacquiao was already being touted for a rematch with Mayweather – and after the Filipino cruised past Broner, he duly called out ‘Money’.

Though Mayweather remained stoic while Pacquiao called for a rematch, rumours have linked the pair to a summer fight.

Mayweather outpointed Pacquiao in May 2015, in a showdown five years in the making and billed “Fight of The Century”.

The fight sold a record 4.6million pay-per-views along with the an estimated £465 million in gross revenue.

However, Pacquiao claimed he tore his rotator cuff during training, which ultimately disarmed him with the ability to throw his renowned combinations in the biggest fight of his career.

The eight-weight champion has called for a second crack at Mayweather, who last month took on Japanese kickboxer tenshin Nasukawa in a boxing exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.

Pacquiao's longtime trainer Freddie Roach exclusively told SunSport he wishes for one more shot at Mayweather – this time, he says, with a healthy Pacman.

Roach said: “I really want the Mayweather one back, because I know we can fight a much better fight with Manny healthy with the shoulder.

“He’s had surgery (on the shoulder) and now he has two hands it would be a much better fight.

“I would like that fight but if that doesn’t come to the table there’s a lot other good fights out there at welterweight.

“We almost beat him with the injury, a lot of people even thought Manny won that fight.

“Manny with two hands fights Mayweather much more fearsome and will deal with his style much more easier.”
