Nets drop Game 3 crusher to Bucks

The Bucks just reminded the Nets that it takes seven games to win a series.

The Nets, who blew out the Bucks in Game 2, suffered a hard-fought 86-83 loss Thursday night in Milwaukee and now hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal.

Jrue Holiday overcame his game-long struggles to score the go-ahead basket in the closing seconds and Khris Middleton, who had a game-high 35 points to go along with 15 rebounds, hit two free throws to close out the win. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 33 for Milwaukee.

Kevin Durant who scored 30 points after a rough first half, missed a chance for a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.
