Premier League sack race: Latest odds as Slavisa Jokanovic has two games to save job

Reports suggest the Serbian has just two Premier League games to save his job after a shocking start in the top flight.

The Cottagers lost 4-2 to fellow new-boys Cardiff, piling more pressure on the 50-year-old manager.

Fulham have not won since their third game of the season at home to Burnley, taking just two points in their last six league games.

The pressure comes after he spent over £100million in the summer following their promotion from the Championship.

Despite Fulham's reported ultimatum for Jokanovic, Jose Mourinho remains the favourite in the Premier League sack race.

Betway: Premier League sack race

Jose Mourinho 5/2 (from 6/4)

Slavisa Jokanovic 11/4 (from 10/1)

Mark Hughes 5/1

Rafa Benitez 6/1 (from 9/1)

Neil Warnock 9/1

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “While Mourinho’s point against Chelsea has helped him live another day, Fulham boss Jokanovic has once again been heavily backed for the sack in the last 24 hours, following his side’s 4-2 defeat at Cardiff.

“The Serbian is now just 11/4, having been as big as 10/1, to be the first Premier League manager to leave their post this season, and with this Saturday’s encounter with high-flying Bournemouth looming, another defeat could be curtains for the Cottagers’ boss.

“Rafael Benitez is another whose odds have shortened, and with his Newcastle side still rock bottom of the table on two points, it’s no surprise we’ve seen him go from 9/1 to 6/1, while Mourinho heads the betting at 5/2, having drifted from 6/4 since the weekend.”
