RB Leipzig join Bayern Munich in race to sign Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich are very keen on the 18-year-old with reports claiming the Bundesliga champions had already bid £13million for the Chelsea man.

However, Kicker report Leipzig have now entered the race for Hudson-Odoi, who has made just six senior appearances for Chelsea.

Reports suggest Leipzig are looking to bring in a wide man but due to their limited transfer budget, are looking to recruit a forward with a smaller price-tag.

Chelsea will only listen to offers over £22.5million for Hudson-Odoi as Bayern were believed to have launched an unsuccessful bid of £20m for the youngster.

Bayern and Leipzig are also joined by Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in the chase for Hudson-Odoi.

However, Dortmund have the advantage of potentially using the sale of Christian Pulisic at a lower price to bring Hudson-Odoi to Germany.

Pulisic has caught the attention of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea as the Premier League teams look to do battle for the American's signature.

Reports suggest Dortmund are only willing to listen to an offer of around £45m – with Chelsea prepared to match the asking price.

Former Fulham and USA striker Eddie Johnson took to social media to confirm Pulisic’s switch to Chelsea via his Instagram.

While further rumours of the Blues winning the race for Pulisic came after the 20-year-old’s dad followed Chelsea and Eden Hazard on Twitter.

Pulisic was a regular starter in the Dortmund 11 but the right winger has fallen behind England starlet Jadon Sancho in the pecking order this season.
