Refs criticized on Twitter for Monday night’s decision on blocked field goal by Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks collected an uninspiring 21-7 win over the listless Minnesota Vikings in a matchup of projected NFC wild-card teams.

A turning point in the game came midway through the fourth quarter, when Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner jumped over the line of scrimmage and blocked a field-goal attempt by the Vikings' Dan Bailey in a 6-0 game.

The only problem? The maneuver was illegal and shouldn't have counted because he put both his hands on teammates to propel him over the line of scrimmage. A flag was thrown … and then picked up with no penalty on the play.
