Ronda Rousey could be joined by husband Travis Browne in WWE tag-team after UFC switch

The former women’s champion is the hottest star in professional wrestling after quitting MMA after two crushing losses.

And the cross-over between UFC and WWE has never been more prolific with CM Punk and Brock Lesnar moving between the two.

And light-heavy and heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is a huge wrestling fan widely expected to move into entertainment once he retires from fighting.

And 6ft 7in Browne is the latest name to link himself with a move to wrestling, even hinting at the chance to tag-team with his bride.

He told TMZ: “I’ll never say no to the possibility of going out there and wrestling.

“I’d love to go out there and work with my wife. That would be so much fun.

After forging the female division on her own back and defending the bantamweight title six times, Rousey was stunned with two consecutive losses.

The second, to Amanda Nunes in December 2016, took just 48 seconds and the 31-year-old actress admitted to suffering bouts of depression after the defeats.

Browne reveals he has never seen her look happier, all but quashing rumours she could be set for a UFC return anytime soon.

He said: “I’ve never seen her more happy than right now.

“She’s really enjoying what she does, I wouldn’t change that for the world.”
