Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is 5/2 to join Real Madrid after Sergio Ramos said England skippper can succeed in Spain

Los Blancos legend Sergio Ramos praised the Tottenham star and said he is capable of shining in La Liga.

The England skipper would follow in the footsteps of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, who have made the switch from Spurs to Madrid.

But Kane is 10/1 to line up against Ramos next season in an El Clasico and sign for their arch rivals Barcelona.

This leaves a move to any La Liga side next summer at 13/8.

Reports suggest the 25-year-old is a £200million target for Madrid – after Kane netted 52 goals in 59 appearances for club and country.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “With Ramos coming out with comments that Kane would thrive in Spain if he was to leave England for a stint abroad, we now have it at 13/8 that the Spurs and England striker will move to La Liga next summer.

"Rumours have been circulating in the last few weeks of a Kane move to Barcelona with those odds now 10/1, while he’s 5/2 to go to Real now that following the backing from Ramos.”
