Muguruza has won two Gland Slam titles, following her dominant triumph over Venus Williams at this year's Wimbledon.
She won her first Grand Slam in 2016, when she defeated Serena Williams to secure the title at Rolland Garros.
Other than that, Muguruza finished as runner-up at Wimbledon in 2015, losing that final to Serena.
Her best Australian Open finish was the quarter-final this year, and her best US Open finish was the second round.
