Winter Olympics 2018 schedule: What events are on TODAY and what time does the sport start?

THE Winter Olympics officially gets underway on Friday with the opening ceremony.

The PyeongChang organisers have kept relatively quiet on the actual ceremony but the Great Britain team will be walking out in the athletes procession, led by Sochi gold medallist Lizzy Yarnold.

Which channel can I watch it on and can I live stream it?

THE Winter Olympics will be shown on the BBC and EuroSport. 

On Friday, EuroSport will be showing the curling, figure skating and freestyle skiing throughout the night.

Both BBC 1 and EuroSport will have live coverage of the opening ceremony from 10.30am.

 

Are there any medals available today?

THERE are no medal events taking place on Friday. 

The first medals will be won on Saturday, February 10.

These will be in cross country skiing, speed skating, biathlon and ski jumping.
