World Boxing Super Series 2: Three weight divisions including bantamweight battle with Zolani Tete, Emmanuel Rodriguez and Ryan Burnett

Following on from the success of their super-middleweight and cruiserweight tournaments that will be decided by the end of the year, the next series has been boosted by an extra division.

Bantamweight glory will be contested by WBO champion Zolani Tete, IBF champion Emmanuel Rodriguez and WBA king Ryan Burnett.

The cruiserweight final between Oleksandr Usyk and Murat Gassiev is rumoured to be booked in for September when an undisputed king will be decided.
George Groves will hopefully defend his WBA crown against Callum Smith in the super-middleweight final but the Hammersmith man is fighting back from an dislocated shoulder in his semi-final win over Chris Eubank Jr.
Groves appealed to the competition organisers, Comosa AG, for a month-long extension but is unclear yet if it will be granted with timings tight.

Groves said: “"This week, I underwent a six-week post-op CT scan on the injured shoulder which I'm very pleased to confirm has healed perfectly.
"All united and good to proceed as planned.
"So a July 7 World Boxing Super Series final is possible, provided a one-month extension is granted.”
Rodriguez battered Paul Butler on Saturday night at the O2 and Tete won a 12-second title defence in November.
Burnett – the northern Irishman trained by Adam Booth – has won his last three fights on points.
