WWE confirm Braun Strowman will undergo surgery on his injured elbow

The Monster Among Men is set to face Baron Corbin at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view as he attempts to secure a title shot against Brock Lesnar for the Royal Rumble.

However his chances could now be in jeopardy after he was attacked on Monday Night Raw.

WWE announced his elbow had been shattered following a three-on-one assault by Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

That forced him to pull out of the Mixed Match Challenge, in which he was due to partner Ember Moon.

Now the company has released a statement announcing Strowman will go under the knife, potentially putting his battle with Corbin in doubt.

It read: “Braun Strowman will be undergoing surgery on his shattered elbow, WWE.com has learned.

“The injury to his elbow was the result of a brutal attack at the hands of Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw.”
