WWE is back overseas with its Crown Jewel event on Friday, November 2 at King Saud Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and airing live on the WWE Network. The show gets underway with the kickoff show at 11 a.m. ET with the main card starting at 12 p.m. ET.
The event is surrounded by controversy with the WWE deciding to go forward with it despite an American resident and Washington Post journalist being murdered earlier this month at Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Turkey. As if that weren’t enough, Hulk Hogan will serve as the host for the event, marking his first on-screen appearance for the company since 2015 when he was fired and removed from the WWE Hall of Fame after racially insensitive remarks. This past July, Hogan spoke with the WWE locker room before an event and his comments were not widely appreciated.

The shows are part of a lucrative 10-year partnership between WWE and the Saudi General Sports Authority in support of Saudi Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program.
Sporting News will provide live bell-to-bell coverage of WWE Crown Jewel on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET.
