Amber Heard broke down on the stand as she told the courtroom how Johnny Depp’s ‘smear campaign’ against her has upended her life.

Asked by her own attorney how she has suffered as a result of Depp’s statement, Heard said, ‘I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every single day.

‘Even just walking into this courtroom, sitting here in front of the world, having the worst parts of my life used to humiliate me. People want to kill me and they tell me so every day.

‘People want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me that. Johnny threatened, promised me that if I ever left him he’d make me think of him every single day I lived.’

Heard has a one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, who she welcomed via surrogate. Heard has not publicly revealed who the father is.

Taking a jab at Depp, who has been seen laughing, smirking and making jokes throughout the trial, Heard said, ‘I’m not sitting in this courtroom snickering. I’m not sitting in this courtroom laughing and making snide jokes. This is horrible, this painful and this is humiliating for any human being to go through. Perhaps it’s easy to go forget that, I’m a human being.’

‘I don’t deserve this. The attacks on me the campaign that Johnny has elicited millions of people to do on his behalf, torture me,’ she added.

Heard was asked how Depp’s statements and threats have continued to manifest today.

‘In the harassment the humiliation, the campaign against me that’s echoed every single day on social media nad now in cameras in this room. Every single day I live this trauma.

‘My hands shake, I wake up screaming…my friends have to live with a set of unspoken rules about how not to scare me, how to not touch me, not surprise me. Intimate partners have rules about how they can touch me.

‘I have rules about medical professionals….gynecologists I see – for me not to have a panic attack or triggering event, where I relive the trauma, even if I’m training for a movie, Aquaman 2. A trigger happens and I have a meltdown, I have to deal with that because of the damage I have.’

Heard said she is ‘high functioning’ because she has ‘found a solution to the pain,’ which Heard said is charitable work.

‘I woke up every day with panic attacks until I realized I could do something about it. I’m not a saint, I’m not trying to present myself as one but I selfishly found relief in using what I live through to give a voice to people who don’t have a voice.

‘I would not wish this situation on my worst enemy. As I stand here today I can’t have a career, I can’t have people associate with me and I can’t do charity work.’

Heard said she has received ‘hundreds’ of death threats regularly and ‘thousands’ since the trial began.

‘People mocking my testimony about being assaulted. Making fun of…it’s been agonizing, painful and was humiliating thing I’ve ever had to go through. I hope no one has to go through something like this.

‘I just want Johnny to leave me alone. I’ve said that for years now and I thought he would.’

‘Johnny has taken enough of my voice. I have the right to tell my story, my voice and my name. He took it long enough. I have a right as an American to talk about what happened to me, to own my story and my truth. I have that right. I hope to get my voice back and I’ve said that from day one.’

Dr. Richard Gilbert, a surgeon and expert in the field of orthopedic surgery, said that Depp’s fingertip could have been sliced off in Australia when Heard threw a vodka bottle at him.

Heard has claimed that Depp smashed it against a wall while bashing a phone in a drink and drug-fueled rage.

Dr. Gilbert said that Depp had a comminuted fracture which meant it was broken in multiple pieces and was caused by ‘some type of blunt force’.

Depp also sustained loss of the tissue towards the little finger.

Dr. Gilbert said: ‘This appeared based upon my review of the pictures to be some type of sharp laceration, it represented a clean edge of the wound’.

The court was shown X-rays of Depp’s finger showing the tip had several breaks in it.

Dr. Gilbert said that ‘I do believe’ that Depp’s explanation could be the reason for the injury.

He said: ‘A vodka bottle which is a hard object would have crushed the tip of the finger resulting comminuted fracture

‘As the vodka bottle broke it would have lacerated the finger resulting in this injury’.

According to Dr. Gilbert, Heard’s account of the injury was ‘highly unlikely’.

He said: ‘When an injury is caused by punching against a wall or hard object it’s extremely rare to see an injury to the tips of the fingers’.

Instead you had injuries to the knuckles which he said were known as ‘boxer fractures.’

Dr Gilbert disagreed with an analysis by Heard’s finger surgery expert, Dr. Richard Moore, who has told the court that a vodka bottle wouldn’t have enough force to cause the injury.

He said: ‘I believe a vodka bottle that was thrown from a distance was more than sufficient force to result in this fracture and soft tissue loss.’

The  defamation trial was shown a photo of the actor with a mark below his eye the day before he claimed Amber Heard punched him on his 2015 honeymoon.

Depp was cross examined by Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn Wednesday who asked him about his claims regarding being punched on his honeymoon.

The court was shown photos posted on social media the day before Depp and Heard got on the Orient Express in July 2015.

They showed Depp with a mark below his left eye, the same eye that he says Heard hit him on during the trip, Rottenborn said.

Rottenborn said that the dark mark was the same.

But Depp protested that a ‘side light’ would create such an effect.

Rottenborn pointed out the photos – showing Depp holding a baby – were not taken from the side.

Depp claims: ‘Light on the side will cause (eye) bone to appear sunken.’

Rottenborn said: ‘Whatever mark it is, sunburn, shadow, you had that same mark before you got on the train.’

Depp shot back: ‘It’s pretty difficult to get a sunburn on the train.’

Heard has claimed that Depp became violent during their honeymoon on the Orient Express in August 2015 and punched her repeatedly in their car

The court was shown another copy of the photo of Depp on board the Orient Express posted on Facebook.

Depp claims: ‘That looks like the eyes have been photoshopped.’

Heard has claimed that Depp became violent during their honeymoon on the Orient Express in August 2015 and punched her repeatedly in their car.

Depp said that they did take the train from Bangkok, Thailand, to Singapore but his account was very different.

Depp said: ‘There were times when it was very agreeable, very nice and then there were times when something had become dissatisfactory for her and she would start then rant, the blooming of a fight would be on deck there.

‘At one point – I don’t remember it lasting long – I took a pretty good shot to the face, to the eye, to somewhere up here. I had a bit of a shiner but it all went, ended and everything got fine again and we’d go to dinner and it was all fine’.’

The jury were shown a photo of Depp and Heard posing with the staff of the Orient Express.

Depp said that it showed his eye ‘a little bit bugged out.’

He said: ‘These things could happen very quickly. If you disagreed. I don’t look like myself much but it certainly looks like me with a black eye.’

Depp was asked if the image had been Photoshopped as Heard claimed.

He said: ‘It would be difficult to start getting into digital processing with a number of people on the shot.’

The jury were shown a photo of Depp and Heard posing with the manager of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore at the end of their trip.

Depp said you could see his left eye is ‘swollen and a bit of a shiner there’.
