This is the stunning Norwegian blonde dating sacked Premier League referee Bobby Madley after the collapse of his two-year marriage – as his mum denies he was sacked over a Snapchat joke mocking the disabled.

Jenny Emilie Johannessen, a singer turned nurse, has been in a relationship with Madley for at least eight months, MailOnline can reveal, and he is planning to move to Norway with her to start a new life officiating for the top league  in the autumn.

The 32-year-old, whose high profile career came to a shuddering halt this summer, was tipped for great things before an allegedly ill-advised social media post is said to have brought him down.

He has remained silent since his shock resignation but his mother Margaret said she was appalled by the treatment of her son and thought he was being made a scapegoat by disgruntled fans over controversial decisions on the pitch.

Today, she said her son would never poke fun as his own father and several members of his family needed special care.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mrs Madley said: ‘These allegations against my son are totally unfounded, they are a load of rubbish and are hurting him. My son is very strong and he will rise above this.’

The 65-year-old said her son would ‘never’ discriminate against anyone whilst telling of her delight that he was moving on ‘positively’ from a broken marriage and failed footie career in Britain with his ‘lovely’ new girlfriend he is ‘besotted’ with.

Jenny, a former music scholar from Oslo, had dreamed of hitting the big time as lead singer with band Wizards of Ozlo but changed focus after a YouTube bid did not take off.

She is now focused on her job as a nurse at Oslo University Hospital and helping her partner as he leaves his high profile six-figure sum post under a shadow.

The referees’ body Professional Game Match Officials (PGMOL) announced earlier this month that Madley would no longer be officiating matches ‘due to a change in personal circumstances.’

On Thursday, it was reported that he had shared a Snapchat picture of a disabled man with an insensitive remark saying he should be able to beat him in a school sports day race.

A follower screenshotted the picture and sent it to Madley’s bosses, leading to the ref being fired.

Mrs Madley said four people in the family were disabled and her son would ‘never, ever say or write a bad, offensive word against anyone with a disability’.

Speaking for the first time from her home in Ossett, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Mrs Madley said: ‘Whoever is saying this is sinking to the lowest and stirring it, maybe fans who are incensed their team has lost a match my son has been referreeing or officials and pundits questioning a bad decision and want to get rid of him.’

The mum-of-two, who has four grandchildren, said her son ‘voluntarily gives up his own time to help disabled children’ each year.

She told how she lost her husband, Bobby’s father, seven years ago, saying: ‘He was disabled, he had mobility problems and my two sons grew up around that and helped care for him, bathing home and toiletting him.

‘I have a disabled brother – Bobby’s uncle – and a brother-in-law, also disabled and my niece, Bobby’s cousin, is in a wheelchair with a debilitating illness and he volunteers his free time to help a disabled football team in Leeds.

‘The FA (Football Association) know our family, when Bobby or his brother have been officiating I’ve sometimes brought my brother in a wheelchair to Wembley matches.

‘Bobby does not have a problem with disability, he would never criticise or mock. It’s part of his family.’

Mrs Madley said four people in the family – including her late husband and Bobby’s father – were disabled and her son would ‘never, ever say or write a bad, offensive word against anyone with a disability’

And the tearful widow begged fans: ‘Please wish him well. He’s starting a new life and after everything that’s happened he deserves some support.’

Mrs Madley heaped praise on his girlfriend, who she has met and has been in the UK this week getting acquainted with her partner’s kids.

She enthused: ‘She is lovely and comes from a delightful family in Oslo who I am looking forward to meeting soon.

‘They’ve been together for a while but not many people know. He’s besotted with her, she lives in Norway and they travel back and forth.

‘She’s with Bobby in England now as they wanted to have some time with his children.’

Mrs Madley said the autumn move abroad would not stop him being a good dad to his two young daughters and they will still be ‘a big part of his life.

She added: ‘Norway’s not far away and he’ll coming back and forth to see his children.’

Last December Jenny defended Madley against a troll on Twitter who had made a disparaging comment relating to his children, writing: ‘Bobby’s daughter is 8. You’re disgusting.’

Mrs Madley said her son hoped to officiate games for the Eliteserien, Norway’s professional football league.

She explained: ‘He is moving to Norway to be with and set up home with his girlfriend in November. Everything is under discussion for him to start work there as a referee.’

Mrs Madley maintains the reasons ‘due to personal circumstances’ her son was ousted from his top job were for ‘love’ and nothing more sinister.

She said: ‘Those personal circumstances are because he wants a new life with his girlfriend and is moving to her native Norway. It was his choice.

‘He split up with his wife Rachel before, the girlfriend is not the cause of their marriage breakdown.

‘Rachel knows about her, they’ve gone their separate ways, and it doesn’t seem to be a problem.’

Speaking from her home in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Rachel told MailOnline: ‘We were married but now he can do whatever he wants to. He has a new girlfriend and good luck to him.’

Declining to comment on the scandal that has wrecked his English soccer career, saying: ‘What he does and what he thinks is up to him.’

Madley was destined to become one of Europe’s elite referees and was elevated to the FIFA list last year. He had refereed 91 matches in the top flight over the past five seasons.
