THE body of a man who vanished after a night out three weeks ago has been recovered from a river.
Nathan Fleetwood, 21, was last seen in the town centre of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, at around 2.30am on March 27.
Friends and family issued an urgent appeal to find him when he failed to return home before police upped search efforts and began scouring the area.
After a three-week hunt, cops today confirmed they had found a body in the River Severn.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Nathan's family have been informed.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A body was recovered from the River Severn in Shrewsbury yesterday.

"West Mercia Search and Rescue discovered the body while searching for 21-year-old missing man Nathan Fleetwood, who was last seen on Sunday 27 March.
"Formal identification has yet to take place however Nathan’s family have been informed."
