BREAKING Katy Collins dead — Bellator MMA star dies aged 32

Tributes have flooded in for Bellator MMA veteran Katy Collins, who has died aged 32.

The fighter passed away yesterday, following complications from a brain aneurysm last week.

She died surrounded by her family in Branson, Missouri.

Her death was confirmed by trainer J.T Tilley on Facebook.

"The fight is over, he wrote, "You never stopped fighting and we never gave up on you. Just wasn’t in the card."

Tilley continued: "I’ve always been so proud of you Kate. We did it… I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

"I will miss you more than the world will ever know."

The mum — who became known as the "red dragon" — compiled a 7-4 record over her short three-year career.

She is survived by her two sons.

Kate’s sister, Kimberly, had kept worried fans updated on Facebook as her health deteriorated.
