After a foggy morning, more light snow is expected in the Denver area and in the mountains Tuesday evening.
The fog Tuesday morning could stick around Denver until 10 a.m., but it could also shift southward by 8 a.m. The snow will most likely begin over the Urban Corridor after 5 p.m. or 6 p.m.
About one to three inches is expected in the mountains, then lighter snowfall of about a half inch could accumulate in Denver.
Tuesday will be cold as well, with high temperatures of 33 degrees and lows at 17 degrees.
The snow will continue overnight into Wednesday morning. About one to four more inches of accumulation is expected Wednesday in the mountains, and Denver could get up to an inch more.
Wednesday is also set to be cold, with a high of 31 degrees and a low of 12 degrees.
The rest of the week will be mostly dry and slightly warmer, with Thursday’s high at 38 degrees and Friday’s high at 42 degrees.
