A luxury estate agent has made a bizarre brag that the Queen's funeral (whenever it will be) will be the 'biggest sell-out gig of last 100 years' on the eve of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Chairman and founder of high profile London property agency Glentree, Trevor Abrahmsohn made his comments as part of a celebratory newsletter this morning (June 1).

Mr Abrahmsohn, who specialises in selling multi-million-pound properties to billionaire business moguls all across the world, took a moment to thank the Queen for her service before heralding her demise.

He wrote: "Sometimes we don’t know when we’re well-off. The Queen is one of our most popular global brands, revered and respected in the UK, Commonwealth and throughout the world.

"Let’s be honest – her funeral (may it not be for many years) will be the biggest sell-out gig of the last 100 years."

The Queen, 96, has been dogged with health issues in recent months and there are fears surrounding her ongoing mobility issues with her even appearing on a golf buggy at the Chelsea Flower Show last month.

These issues forced her to cancel several engagements over recent months leading up to the Jubilee of which she will only appear infrequently.

Buckingham Palace are now understood to have a new policy in place where the Queen's presence at official events to mark her 70 years on the throne will not be confirmed until the day in question.

It is reportedly designed to prevent any potential misunderstandings and stop the events from being overshadowed.

Royal aides say the Queen has been experiencing "good and less good days" lately in relation to her health and that she is "aware of her frailties", the Daily Express reports.

The Trooping the Colour parade will be kicking off the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 2, but it's as yet unknown whether Harry and Meghan will be playing any role at the event.
