Fans may see Kate and William’s kids next month in upcoming Christmas card treat

Royal fans are hoping to see Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis together in a rare photo opportunity next month.

Traditionally, the leading members of the Royal Family release new family snaps to mark the festive season, and with this year's Christmas being largely free of Covid restrictions we can expect more of the same.

Last year, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared an image from Anmer Hall, the Cambridge's family home in Norfolk.

It featured the Duke and Duchess along with the George, now eight, Charlotte, six and Louis, three, outside smiling on top of a hay bale, reports the Express.

Louis, sat in the middle, was easily the centre of attention as he grinned with a cheeky smile.

If the couple were to decide to release a new photo for a card this year, it is expected that their children would once again steal the limelight.

The family’s card from 2019, seen in a photo from that year of the Queen sat behind her desk at Windsor Castle, showed parents and children posing around a vintage motorbike and sidecar.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are also renowned for sharing images from their official Christmas cards.

Their 2019 Christmas card showed the couple driving a vintage MG TD while on tour in Cuba.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, their 2020 card was much more subdued.

In it, the couple can be seen sitting in casual wear in the early autumn at Birkhall, Scotland.

Last year, the Queen spent Christmas away from her wider family at Windsor Castle.

The Royal Family usually celebrates Christmas together at Sandringham, but last year the Queen was at Windsor Castle without the wider circle of royals.

This Christmas will be the Queen’s first without her late husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Reports suggest that she is “committed” to welcoming her family for festivities, and she is expected to host at Sandringham as per tradition.

This, of course, depends on the monarch's health over the festive period.

Following medical advice, Her Majesty has been forced to pull out of some recent royal engagements.

Despite this, she did attend the christenings of her latest two great-grandsons on Sunday.

The Royal Family’s full Christmas plans are likely to be confirmed in due course.
