Five people shot — two killed, three wounded in Denver Park Hill shooting Saturday

Two men were killed and three other people wounded in a shooting in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood Saturday night.

Denver police reported the shooting, at East 33rd Avenue and Hudson Street, around 10 p.m. One man died at the scene and another at a hospital, according to police.

Two women and a third man were also wounded. One woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and the other two victims’ conditions were unknown Sunday, police spokesman Jay Casillas said.

Police did not immediately release any details about how the shooting unfolded or what preceded the shots, and Casillas said he had no information on the shooting Sunday. He did not know if the shooting happened inside or outside, or if it was a drive-by shooting. He said initial reports did not indicate an exchange of gunfire.

No arrests had been made.

“We’re asking for the public’s help to help us with the suspect information and what led to this shooting,” Casillas said.
