Let’s unwind! The 18th century cottage offers plenty of comfortable spaces where homeowners and guests can relax while appreciating the lovely outdoors on show
Warm and cosy: The original character features of the four-bedroom property largely remain – such as the exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it: Over the 40 years since first featuring on a chocolate box, the cottage has remained much the same. However, the colourful roses have now been replaced by shrubs that are easier to maintain

The rose-covered, white-painted thatched cottage against a cloudless blue sky made for an idyllic photograph to entice sentimental customers to purchase the chocolates.
