An Irish priest gave himself a mighty musical shock when he accidentally blared out rap music during his online mass.
Father Pat was leading a livestreamed service to an empty church in Donegal, Ireland when his sound system started playing a rap song by grime artist Black the Ripper.
He had only just begun his blessing to the listeners at home when the grime track interrupted him and started playing loudly over the PA.
In the video, you can hear him say the words "in the name of the Father, and of the son" before the song interrupts him and booms around the church hall.
Father Pat is forced to try and turn off the unexpected music after he initially tries to carry on with his speech.
We hear the words "Okay, it's Black the Ripper" from the track titled Young Prophet, and Father Pat finally manages to pause the music.
You can hear the priest laughing at his mishap, and he jokes to the audience: "Black the Ripper, a wee bit of rap in the morning wakes you up".
He also made another joke saying: "I hope that didn't do anybody's blood pressure any difficulty".
The parish church's official Facebook page then joined in the fun when they uploaded a photo of Black the Ripper's album cover and claimed it was that morning's official "opening hymn".
Online users quickly took to the comment section of the Facebook post to get involved in the fun.
One joked: "Ah the song is Young Prophet, I can see where Alexa went wrong".
Another said: "You really couldn't make it up. Something for everyone at Fr Pat's Mass".
A third user commented: "'It was brilliant father pat! If we weren't awake at that point well we surely were after that rap".
