Kate Middleton has beat other prominent royal women and couples in the racking up of hashtags on Instagram.
This means that the Duchess of Cambridge has been crowned the most Instagrammable royal woman ever, according to research into social media trends.
The Duchess beat Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as Prince Charles with both the late Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cornwall.
In the ranking of couples, Prince William and the Duchess both generated 2.2 million hashtags between them, Express reports.
But Kate out performed her husband in the Instagram polls, generating a new 1.3 million hashtags on her own.
And this performance was enough for the Duchess of Cambridge to beat all of the other senior female royals.

Instagram is constantly growing as a popular platform for the royal family who are able to effectively reach out to their fans and promote their causes.
