Kate Middleton glows in glorious yellow as she and Prince William arrive at Wimbledon to watch Djokovic vs Anderson in men’s singles final

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will this afternoon sit in the Royal Box for the nail-biting match between Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson.

And the mum of three looked in good spirits as she arrived this afternoon, channelling the warm summer sun with her yellow dress.

It comes after the mum of three was yesterday joined by sister-in-law Meghan Markle for the Ladies' Final.

The Duchesses, both 36, exuded Wimbledon chic with Meghan teaming a loose-fitted blue and white-striped shirt with wide-legged, high-waisted white trousers and a white straw boater hat.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton sported a black and white patterned midi dress with ruffle detail, teamed with nude heels and drop earrings.

The pair appeared to get along smashingly – exchanging jokes and smiles as they watched Serena Williams on Centre Court as she lost out to Angelique Kerber from Germany.

But Meghan appeared disheartened after Serena lost the match, with the athlete telling fellow mums: "I was playing for you today."

The professional athlete gave birth to her first child in September last year – returning to her beloved sport in less than a year.

This year's Championships are set to finish in the same heat they started, with the Met Office forecasting highs of 27C for SW19.

Meghan and Kate managed to stay cool during yesterday's match, shown around Wimbledon by Chairman of the AELTC Philip Brook and his wife Gill.

They then greeted an excited line of ball boys and ball girls at the club and chatted to some junior tennis players.

It's unknown if Meghan Markle will join her in-laws for today's match.

Her father Thomas Markle today made a passionate plea for the Duchess of Sussex to call him – revealing they hadn't spoken in months.

The 73-year-old also revealed fears the bubbly former American actress was struggling to cope with the switch to "prim" public duties with the Royal Family.

Speaking to the Sun, he said: "My thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified.

“I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile.

“I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now.

“This one isn’t even a stage smile – this is a pained smile.

“That might be just having a couple of bad days. I don’t know. It really worries me. I think she’s under too much pressure.

“There’s a high price to pay to be married to that family.”

Mum Kate is officially still on maternity leave from royal duties after having her and Prince William's third child, Prince Louis, in April this year.
