At least seven children have been killed and 19 injured in a mass knife attack in northern China.
The attack took place this afternoon near a secondary school in Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province, at 6.10pm local time.
Eyewitness video shows bloodied students who had been stabbed to death lying on the ground.
Footage also shows a man, believed to be the suspected knifeman, being taken away by police.
In the video clip, filmed on a mobile phone, a woman can be heard shouting at people to "hurry up".
It is not clear if she is shouting at police to catch the knifeman, or directing first aiders to help the injured.
The footage also shows shocked witnesses hitting the suspect as he is led away with his arms behind his back.
A number of knife attacks have taken place in China in recent years.
In a March 2015 attack at Kunming station, 29 people were killed and more than 100 wounded.
