Meghan Markle wants ‘Enid Blyton-style’ family, claims body language expert

Meghan Markle wants to be the "protector" of "her two boys" Prince Harry and Archie and set them up with an Enid Blyton-style "idyllic" way of life, according to a body language expert.

Judi James, analysing the family's personalised Christmas card, told Fabulous the vintage-looking design is remarkably similar to the covers of the classic children's storybooks.

In the card, the family is gathered around a cute little wendy house in the garden in a photo taken by Meghan's mum Doria Ragland and posterized to give the vintage Ladybird feel.

A Christmas tree decorated with a red ribbon and a potted poinsettia add a festive edge to the card, which shows Harry crouching in the doorway of the playhouse with Archie while Meghan sits in front.

Judi James told Fabulous: "This digitalised picture seems to glorify the Enid Blyton-style childhoods of vintage storybooks, suggesting a very besotted-looking Harry and Meghan are set on creating a look of idyllic, rustic intimacy rather than posing up the garden in their multi-million dollar mansion."

She said Meghan's dominant posture suggests a wish to "contain and protect her precious family unit".

While Harry sits with his son in the toy home, it is Meghan who sits a little further apart and outside, "guarding" the space between the viewer and her family, says Judi.

She explains: "Harry sits inside the tiny playhouse here, holding his face close to Archie's and grinning at his son, who he holds with both hands.

"It is Meghan who sits cross-legged outside on the doorstep, looking very much as though she is guarding her two boys with the help of her dogs Oz and Guy."

Ms James argued this makes Meghan look like the "family protector".

The royal couple recently moved into podcasting and their debut show on Spotify hit number seven in the charts – narrowly beaten by whale noises.

Baby Archie spoke in public for the first time in the episode, revealing he has an American acccent.
