More than a dozen people were injured in a bus crash at Newark Liberty International Airport early Friday morning, officials said.
The airport employee shuttle bus was en route to Terminal B, Level 2 when it hit a concrete divider around 5:30 a.m., according to Port Authority officials.
The occupants aboard suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Level 2, which is designated for international arrivals, was temporarily closed following the accident — but reopened around 7 a.m., the airport tweeted.
The Port Authority said the overall impact was “minimal” and that an investigation is ongoing.
Terminal B handles flights from airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa, Ethiopian Airlines, Aer Lingus and British Airways.
