Stunned police officers spotted Joanne Lewis, 43, holding her phone with both hands while behind the wheel of her Jaguar F-Pace.
Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard officers then spotted Lewis rest the device on her steering wheel as a show was playing.
Lewis, from Droxford, Hants, initially denied using her phone while driving and said it was her daughter watching.
She told police after being pulled over: "I wasn't using my mobile phone, I just handed it to my daughter.
"She was on Netflix."
She later admitted it and was fined £600. She was also given six points.
