A Christmas-mad mum has already decorated her home to cheer up her kids after a "horrific" year.
Tammie Walker, 31, is used to people thinking she is mad for putting up festive decorations immediately after Halloween but she has outdone herself this year.
The mum-of-four has said the house will keep its Christmas makeover right up until New Year’s Day in 2021.
Tammie from Wolverhampton said: "To be fair our tree usually goes up just after Halloween but with the year being so horrific I just wanted to cheer the kids up.
"We did it all together on September 20 and now the decorations will stay up until New Year’s Day 2021.
"People always ask me if I’m mad but I love the fact it brings our family together to enjoy the festivities."
By the time the tinsel and baubles come down, her children Rhys 14, Angel-May 13, Evie-Leigh, eight, and Noah, will have enjoyed three bumper months of festivities.
The decorations may be up earlier this year but her shopping for the season started as always, in the January sales.

Tammie loves Christmas so much, she never turns off from scouting out bargains any time of the year.
Most of the presents for friends and family are already wrapped but one thing she has to leave until December is buying Christmas food.
Tammie knows better than to run the risk of her kids hunting down the festive treats in October.
Celebrating Christmas means so much to the family, Tammie says, because she has children with learning disabilities who socialise together much more among the lights and decorations of the season.

She said: "Christmas is so special to me because of lots of reasons.
"I have children with learning disabilities so Christmas festivities encourage them to socialise all together as a family."
She added: "I also love it because they get to enjoy the experience just like I did when I was a child."

Tammie revealed creating her own Christmas wonderland has cost her hundreds of pounds over the years but saves money by making her own decorations too.
She is keeping her fingers crossed that the ongoing restrictions brought on by Covid-19 will not affect her family’s plans too much.
The children will be devastated if they cannot visit their grandparents, she said but is adamant the family will celebrate Christmas as best as they can.
Tammie added: "If we can’t celebrate with my parents it will be upsetting for the kids, plus I have to cook Christmas Dinner myself, not fun at all!
"We would miss the annual games and buffet we usually have with my parents on Christmas night.
"But we will celebrate as best as we can this year without a doubt."
