Mum ‘with post-natal depression’ vanishes after leaving baby at friend’s

A missing mum believed to be suffering from post-natal depression has vanished after leaving her baby at a friend’s, sparking a police hunt.

Sian Wilson was last seen at her home in Oldbury, West Midlands on Sunday morning.

The 34-year-old visited a friend where she left her 18-month-old child before going missing, according to West Midlands Police.

The force launched an urgent appeal for the mum and are asking the public to get in touch with any information.

Police say she may have driven off in her white Vauxhall Corsa, registration number V015 FSV.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Sian is described as white, of slim build and around 5ft 7ins tall.

"She has straight, brown shoulder-length hair and wears glasses.

"Sian may be suffering from post-natal depression. She has an 18-month-old child, who she has left safely with friends.

"She was last seen wearing blue jogging trousers and a grey, fitted long sleeve top with multi coloured stripes.

"If anyone has seen her or knows where she is, has been urged to call the Western Locate Team on 01902 649 150."
