If you’ve added a little fake snow to your windows to give the house a festive feel, here’s someone who’s gone one better.
Artist Tom Baker creates magical winter scenes on windows using just a can of snow spray paint and a brush.
The 39-year-old has been producing the enchanting snowscapes for eight years, with clients including TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp and chef Jamie Oliver.
But he says it is his designs for good causes such as hospitals and charity shops, which he does free of charge, that he finds so rewarding at this time of year.
‘I am a normal guy most of the year, but at Christmas I get the power to do nice things for people and make them happy,’ said Mr Baker, of Sandhurst, Berkshire.

The hospital is close to his heart because doctors saved the life of his wife Keri when she was born there prematurely in 1977 weighing only 4lb.

Mr Baker usually starts taking commissions at the end of October and works throughout Christmas, taking several hours over each project.
With prices starting at £100, he can create instantly recognisable scenes – perhaps a Harry Potter one with the Hogwarts Express – to more personal and poignant pictures.

In one commission, a client asked him to design a window for her father’s last Christmas when he had terminal cancer.
Mrs Baker said: ‘She loved it so much she has asked him to create another scene this Christmas, this time featuring her dad looking over them’.
Mr Baker said: ‘There have been a couple of commissions that have been very personal, and it’s been heartbreaking, but it’s very rewarding helping people.’
