An urgent manhunt has been launched to find a woman who has vanished after telling her family she was going for a walk.

Beth Sharp, 22, has not been seen since 4.30pm on December 27, and does not have “vital medication” with her.

Surrey Police said this afternoon: "We are growing increasingly concerned as it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long, and she does not have vital medication with her."

Police said the young woman disappeared after “she told family she was going for a walk” in Hersham, Surrey.

No contact has been made since, a spokesman for Surrey Police said this afternoon.

The 22-year-old is said to be 5'6" and of slim to average build, with long blonde hair and dark roots.

She has a tattoo behind her left heel of the letter J, detectives said.

Beth was wearing a blue puffer jacket, blue jeans, a grey jumper and boots, and is not believed to have many clothes with her.

A spokesman said: "She does not have access to a car so is likely to be using trains or buses. She is believed to have connections to the Croydon, Epsom and Redhill areas."
